 Alabama Goodwill Industries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization.  Our mission is to provide rehabilitation
services, training, employment, and opportunities
for personal growth in the disabled/disadvantaged. This
mission has four components; employment opportunities, training, counseling/guidance, and transitional services.

Our services include: paid work experience, job
readiness training, individualized assistance in
job searches, job development, daily evaluation
of clients, monthly progress reports, guidance and
counseling as needed, appropriate referrals as needed, determination of appropriate work area based on
individual capacity, and appropriate interviewing
skills. Serving the disabled and disadvantaged
citizens of the Birmingham area and North
Alabama since 1927.
