We’re excited to welcome Dr. DeWayne Cuffie as the next President and CEO of Alabama Goodwill Industries! Following a nationwide search, DeWayne was selected for his deep commitment to mission-driven leadership and his extensive experience within the Goodwill network. With over 16 years of service across multiple regions—including Georgia, Florida, Maryland, and New York—DeWayne brings both operational expertise and a heart for community impact.

He officially steps into the role on September 1, 2025, and will work closely alongside outgoing CEO Dave Wells through a thoughtful transition. As we look ahead, we are confident that DeWayne will continue building on our strong foundation—empowering individuals, strengthening families, and transforming lives through the power of work.
